There are some very cute cakes in the gallery, but has anyone done a Curious George with a Luau theme? Looking for ideas. Cake is to be made for Sep 1st, so not a lot of time to ponder! I'm thinking of doing a tiered cake, a 10" and an 8", making some banana trees and a lot of loose bananas lying around. This cake is for a 4 year old boy's bday, so don't want to put a lot of flowers on it. Thinking of making George from gumpaste. Any other ideas or suggestions would be marvelous!

I would do a two tiered cake with palm trees on the sides, George sitting on top and a lei around his neck.... maybe bananas too, that would be cute. i have a monkey and a jungle cake in my photos ( not curious george, but maybe they could help)

LOLOLOLOLOL OMG THAT is soooo cute! What a great cake! But well I'm a weee bit biased because I grew up on Curious George and I am DYING to do a Curious George cake but I dont know anyone who is as into him as I am LOL
