I use a recipe very, very similar to the NFSC, only it makes about half the quantity. I just add 3 oz. of the premelted baking chocolate to the recipe, and the cookies are quite yummy!

Thank you for sharing. I'll have to try this one this weekend.

That sounds yummy! Does it change the texture or bake time? Do you make any other adjustments to the recipe? Thanks!

rezzycakes, I don't make any adjustments, just add the chocolate once all the flour has been added. (The recipe I use: 1 cup sugar, 1 cup butter, 1 egg, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. baking powder, 3 cups flour, and for chocolate, the 3 oz. of premelted baking chocolate.) I really like the cookie, better than the plain sugar cookie. (I LOVE chocolate, so that's no surprise).

You can replace a portion of the flour with cocoa powder...about 1/3
