Dear fellow CC addicts: does anyone know if there's a tutorial on making a rose on a stick?? I've seen a demonstration of making one on a stick and also making one on a toothpick. I've tried but just can't get the hang of it. icon_cry.gif It's supposed to be a better way--no wax paper involved and you don't wait until the flower is dried; just lift it off the stick and put it on the cake.

Thank you, Chakkakin: I'll be practicing for the next two days. I wish you could have seen the demo...she took the icing up-behind the stick-looped it-brought it around the stick-then started "looping" the petals in a continuous squeeze-the bottom petals were smaller than the first petals (I asked why she made them smaller; she said that's the way it's done). Nothing made sense. She said "just practice". In my frustration, I said "it won't help to practice what I don't understand". To myself I said, I've gotta turn to CC. And you didn't let me done.
