I have tried to make MMF three times, and I do not know what I am doing wrong. I have used different methods including kneeding it by hand as well as with the stand mixer. When I get done with it, it does not strech like I feel like it should. Is it not supposed to strech like that? Is there any suggestions? I have not tried to put it on a cake like this because I do not feel like it is correct.

Any suggestions would help! Thanks

Did you let it rest for a few hours? If you did and its too hard, try putting it in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it up.

I have only made MMF 4 or 5 times, but have found it much easier to roll out when freshly made. After it's been sitting a while it loses its stretch. Put it in the microwave for a few seconds as the pp suggested and it should make it a bit easier, but try using it fresh next time!
