What are you putting on them?? A 4" cake would need a 6" plate...

I don't believe there is such thing as a 4" separator plate ... I think the smallest one out there is 6". You can definitely put a 4" cake on a 6" separator plate. Once you put icing on the cake and pipe a bottom border, you won't even be able to see the extra 2" on the plate.

I would say that for a two-inch cake, you wouldn't even need a separator plate. You could just set it right on top of the larger tier below it.

Hello all, thats what I have been doing. I just wanted to tier the two inch too. Guess I am not going to be able to do that unless I can make a 3-4 inch plate to do it with. Thanks again and will keep watching icon_eek.gif for any ideas from ya`ll. Cheffie icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

couldnt you permanently attach a piece of board to a pillar and use that as your tier? im sure if you attached it really well it would hold up. it would definately be different.

Great idea. Do you think foam core would work? I would need something not very expensive or difficult icon_confused.gif to do as I probably wouldnt get it back. Cheffie icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

i would say sturdy foam board or corrogated board hot glued on would work.

You could also get some clear plexiglass and have it cut into a 4 inch round the maybe glue some feet on it. Just a thought....
