I just need to know some info on using flower nails in cakes to cook them evenly, I know I have read about people using them, BUT I never have and I just want to know if using cake release on them is ok to do .. I really need to make this cake a.s.a.p and just want to know if three across on a 12X18 pan is sufficient???? HELP PLEASE!!!

Yes, I would put 3 in the pan, spaced out evenly. You definately need to grease the nails just as you would your pan.
