Ok, had to try this after reading what everyone says about mmf on this site. Made it and covered my first cake with it today for practice. So much easier than Wilton fondant. I'm making a bow on top - how long does MMF take to set up? Mine is not near stiff at all.

Depending on the humidity where you are, it can take a while - about two to three days if you're just leaving it out on the countertop.

If you have any gumpaste, you could mix it in. I did that for my first fondant roses that I just did and was amazed at how much faster it dried! I tinted my gumpaste the same color as the fondant first before mixing it in- I didn't want to change the color I had gotten for the fondant.

I am a few miles from the ocean and fondant never gets hard due to the high humidity here. You can use a 50/50 mix for fondant and gumpaste to help it harden up.

I put my flowers in the oven with just the light on (something someone on here suggested) and they dried pretty good (hard enough to hold form suspended above the cake on wires) in about 6 hours.
