Mini Wedding Cakes

I am Making two "Mini" Wedding cakes for a double 60th anniversary. I decided to go with a 6", 8", 10" round. I thought to make it a mini I could get away with 1 layer. But I really think it would look better with 2 layers. More like an actual wedding cake.
Do you think it may go away from being a Mini at this point?

I understand that they just wanted a cake that wasn't as large as a standard Wedding Cake. But something they can take home after the party to feed family and friends. When I said I was doing a 6,8,10 she was great with that. But I was thinking a single layer. I stacked the pans and liked how they looked. But since I've baked the first batch I think it now looks odd. So that's why I thought another layer.
I really don't think they want a true MINI Just smaller than the norm.
i can think of plenty of brides whose normal cake size is a 6,8,10. i would simply tell her how many servings a double layer 6,8,10 will yield, and if its what she wants then go ahead and bake it. if its too much, tell her you can do a 4,6,8. have you considered doing simply a 6,8? decorate it like a wedding cake, but being only two tiers would make it mini to me. am i making sense now? LOL.
Thank You all for your input. I talked to my client and they are happy with the single layers. I will be torting them so it will be about 10 inches tall. Which is what I thought in the first place but I always second guess myself.( My worse Critic)
Thanks again
Courtney
