Hey everyone,

I was wondering if someone could tell me the best place to get luster dust. Also, is there another name for it?

Thanks

I was asking about all the different kinds of dusts the other day and which ones would be good to buy.. I ended up ordering them from www.wholesalesugarflowers.com, which was where someone suggested. The prices are really decent and shipping isn't that expensive..

I use lemon extract, it is perfectly clear and dries quickly. You can taste it and smell it even after it dries, which is kind of nice.

I have used coconut extract also. It too leaves a nice scent. (if you or your client like coconut that is icon_biggrin.gif )

Our demonstrator told us to use vodka??? She said it leaves no smell or taste...Who knows, I've never used it before.

I always use Everclear, or barring any of that on hand, vodka. The higher the alcohol content, the fast it's going to dry for you, and the better it stays where you put it. Everclear isn't sold everywhere though. It's 180 proof! That's what was recommended to me by master decorators, and it's great. I've used vodka for a long time, though, and it works great too, even when you're airbrushing.
