I'm going to pipe royal icing characters for a spongebob cake. How long does it take to dry and which recipe should I use. The cake is due tomorrow at 4:00. Do I have enough time? If not, any other suggestions on what I could use instead. Thanks!

It depends where you live and the humidity factor.I live in a very dry area so my royal icing is dry the next day.Others have reported it has taken a few days.
