How Much Would You Charge For A Bassinet Cake?

I made a baby bassinet cake for a baby shower at the church I attend. A family member has asked me to make them the same cake (downsized a little) but in pink for their church baby shower. They normally buy 1/2 sheet cake at a local grocery store that charges them $32.00. This cake was time consuming. Would $45-50 be reasonable? The size is 16 1/2 x 12 3/8 oval cakes stacked with BC frosting between the layers. BC frosting basketweave covering most of the cake with fondant blanket and pillow decorations. I also have two baby bottles with pacifier candies and a tag that says "Welcome Baby". I need some input on this. I don't want to overcharge as it is two of my aunts at church, but I don't want to undercharge either because I will be making several more cakes for them and this one will set the price for others probably depending on the occasion. On Wilton's web site it says this cake pan will feed 70 people. They need a cake for 30 people, so I will need to cut it down a bit.
I am new at this also, but i dont see anything wrong with 50.00. Yes they are family, but if you get more business out of this, then you will have to explain about the price difference. Since I am new at this i have discovered that I will charge a certain amount per slice, period. I dont do 3D cakes yet, so it is pretty easy.
I make fondant cakes, but my friends rate is currently $5/party slice (2x2x4).
For a buttercream one I would charge $3.50/slice. So 30 slices puts me at $105, and I think that's reasonable because it's really 60 wedding slices based in the wilton books.
Yes you want to be cheap, but you would be surprised who pays it. And if you are too pricey for them, then they just aren't your market. That's what I do, unfortunately some friends and family just can't afford me anymore, but the had their freebee cakes when I was learning, now it's business! You don't want to work for $2-5/ hour!!!
