You are too funny. I am so not one of those people. I will take you up on that offer.
Thanks,,

I order mine from my supplier, last years book had no prices, but they sent me a business price catalog along with it. I have not ordered the new book yet, so I don't know if it will be the same. Perhaps Wilton is sending their vendors uppriced books because they are a vendor, and that way they provide the price book along with it. Just a thought.
I don't know about all that vendor stuffs lol I bought my copy at Walmart.... and am waiting ever so IMpatiently for Cupcake Fun book to come out lol
In Canada we definitely get the "no price" version and have done for some time. Of course, they don't sell online to Canada, so I guess it's no use getting our hopes up at those prices. Also, prices vary from store to store, so putting the prices in would no doubt just cause the retailers misery if their prices are different. We (WMI's) get a price list to order from Wilton, but the last one I received was still in US dollars.
We also can't get the Backyardigans or the Nascar stuff, even though they appear in the catalogue. They are not licensed for Canada - we get Strawberry Shortcake instead. Good grief! Oh well, I really don't do many character pans anyway, but I know lots of folks that would just love the Backyardigans stuff. I'd take them over Dora and Diego any day! (Just my little rant...)
I wasn't overly thrilled at the new book this year, there are some nice ideas in it, but nothing that really made me go "wow" - except I really love the candy and Christmas castle cakes. They look fabulous!

I got the Cupcake Fun book last year! I bought it at Michaels, oh, I don't know how long ago, and then Wilton sent one to all their WMI's. So I have two. But I'm going to give one to a friend. Now that is a book worth getting! It's excellent!

is a new cupcake book coming out? i have the cupcake fun book. not sure if wal mart carries that one
Huh? They're out already?! Are they better than last year's? I know so many people were disappointed with last year's.....
There are a couple of things that I really like this year:
The Paisley Pan Set(not available yet)
The Romantic Castle Kit
Bag Ties
Silly Feet Stand and Baking Cups(Santa and Elf)
I just picked up my copy today at AC Moore. To be perfectly honest, I get more inspiration and ideas right here on CC than from the Wilton books anymore, but I still buy them. LOL. I'm addicted to purchasing any books and/or magazines that may offer a new design or technique to try. Incidently, my book is filled with pricing information, as well.
Things that I did like:
*The section on castle cakes was really neat. There are ideas for castle-themed bd cakes; wedding cakes, a dungeon theme for Halloween, and even a Christmas-themed castle for Santa and Mrs. Claus.
I see lots of fondant iced cakes in the book, too. Too bad it tastes like crapola in a box! As expensive as it is, there should be a warning on the back for beginners to just skip right on past and hit CC for a MMF recipe instead. LOTS more compliments on MMF.

The mag I want that I haven't been able to find in ANY store local to me is this one....
The Cupcake Fun book came out at Michaels at the end of Dec or the beginning of Jan. If the stores around you do not have it yet, they may not be getting and you may just have to order it from somewhere.
