Crusting Butter Cream

Hello everyone...

I have been using the all crisco wilton icing for sometime now and I am looking for a different recipe that would crust well.

I did try the frosting with butter and cream cheese but I dont know why its not crusting at all..may be the heat..I dont know.

Would really appreciate if someone can give me a receipe...

I will definitely try Denise's recommended receipe as it has been tested and approved by fellow ccers..

Here's a second vote for Denise's recommendation to use the Buttercream with Real Butter for Decorators recipe. I love it and it is my standard BC recipe. I just made 4 batches yesterday!
