Mmf & Color?

When making a batch of MMF can you just add the color you want during the melted marshmallow phase if you need the batch all one color. Or does this do something to the texture?

BTW I use Rhonda's MMF

You can add it to melted mm's. In fact it is a lot easier to do it that way if you want it all one color.

I love doing it this way, I'm not sure why, but my mmf turns out awesome when I add color to the melted marshmallow. I always have a variety of colors in my fridge b/c I always make too much - but its easier.
