My Second Decorated Cake Ever!

I am taking the Wilton Cake Decorating classes and currently in the first course. Here is a photo of my second cake. The first one I did, the photo was very blurry 
I still have a LONG way to go to be as good as you guys but maybe in time and LOTS of practice I will get there too. This is just soooo much fun.

It's way cute! My first class cake was the clown cake too. I think it would've been more fun had I not been so nervous about getting it just right. It's a cake, for crying out loud - I should've just enjoyed it. I will the next class I take, I've learned!

Great cake. I will be attending my final class for course 1 on Monday-can't wait to complete the Wilton Rose. I have my cake I did as well for the third class...It is fun, I'm looking forward to Course 2.
You did a wonderful job on your cake!! I'm having so much fun with my students and these cakes. You gotta just love those clowns!!
Thank you all so very much for your kind and encouraging words. I took the cake across the street for a family with 3 boys. Their eyes were as big as saucers when they saw the cake. The 4 year old exclaimed that he LOVED clowns....just too cute.

Thank you. There are some boo boos in the icing as it was humid and even after I let the cake rest for over an hour before I tried smoothing with parchment, it still stuck in a couple of places. I tried "fixing it" but decided to just leave it alone since my attempt to fix was doing more harm then good...lol.
Good job on the clowns and the cake in general. I love teaching clowns!!!!! These are currently my 6yr old grandsons favorite so we make alot of clowns these days. They can be made so cute and decorated in so many different way and colors.
