4 (18   ounce) boxes white cake mix
4   cups all-purpose flour
4   cups granulated sugar
3   teaspoons salt
5 1/3   cups water
1/2   cup vegetable oil
4   teaspoons real vanilla
4   teaspoons almond extract
4   cups sour cream
16   large egg whites, room temperature

Would this WASC recipe be too much for a 12 x 12 Inch square cake pan. I know I will have leftover batter but I'm hoping not too much.

I want a high cake cause i have to torte to put filling? Help me here CC experts....

Holy Cow! Unless you have an industrial mixer, I think this is beyond huge and appears to have been quadrupled.... everything is divisible by 4.That doesn't happend very often. Thios seems like way, way too much batter for a 12 X 12... mabe I misunderstood icon_confused.gif
