I'm wondering if anyone know this....The block of high ratio shortening that I bought does not have an expiration date on it. Is it good forever? I got it in January and have kept it sealed up at room temp. It looks like it did when I bought it but I'm wondering if maybe there is something I'm missing.

any suggestions???

Hummmm, that's a good question. I know my Wilton instructor told us that Crisco doesn't last forever. She reccommended 3 months. I would think that hi-ratio shortening would be the same. No?

You could always e-mail/call sugarcraft.com or earlenescakes.com and ask them what they think the shelf life would be.
