I want to make chocolate ladybugs out of the mold for my daughter's 4th birthday. I have never done this before I am confused at how I get the bug to be 2 different colors? Do I do black dots first then red wing then black body I am confused, how does that work? Any help greatly appreciated
You 'paint' all the black features first (dots/wings etc) and let that harden. Then pour in the red chocolate and let that layer harden.
You don't want the first layer so hard that you end up with 2 separate layers when done, but it has to be firm enough so that the 2 colors don't mix either.
