Do I use candy-colors or just regular gel paste colors?
TIA

My goodness, I just ordered my first batch of Choco-pan and just assumed you color it the same way you do any other fondant. Let's hope that's the case.

I use cal-javas white chocolate fondant, and have had no trouble either airbrushing or adding americolor paste to them. I do however, add my paste to a little ball of fondx and then knead the whole batch together. The chocolate fondant gets VERY soft when you add large quantities of color, and I found the fondx just worked a little better for my " starter nut"

icon_biggrin.gif I use ChocoPan and LOVE IT !
To color it I use ANY jell or paste (wilton, americolor, . . .)
I have found for more intence color I use powder free laytex golves to keep from getting color on my hands.
I also like to kneed in powder sugar to keep fondant from getting sticky. you can also use crisco to keep it from sticking to you.
Good luck, and have fun.

txkat- You are a genius. The starter "nut" is a brilliant idea. Wish I'd had that before I made 3 batches of blue mmf this weekend icon_wink.gif

I can't wait to try it!
