I made an emblem out of royal icing.. I used the recipe found here.. The one someone used for making letters.. WELL.. I made the emblem on Tues. and it's still soft.. icon_cry.gif I HAVE TO HAVE THIS THING HARD BY SAT!! I am willing to do this all over again, if only someone can give me a recipe that will harden in a day!! PLEASE!! TIA!!!!!

It looks like you have piping gel on there too. If that's the case, you have to do it over and wait until you put the royal icing on the cake and then do piping gel stuff. here's a royal recipe:


3 Tablespoons Wilton Meringue Powder
1 lb. (4 cups) confectioners' sugar (about 1lb.)
6 Tablespoons warm water (maybe less)

you have to beat it until it looses it's sheen and then it should be done. I'm not sure if it wil dry in a day, but you could blow dry it or maybe do a FBCT. I don't know, hun. I hope this helps a little
