I want to make some light brown icing. When I use Americolor brown or Wilton brown the color looks more like butterscotch. What colors should I use to make it look light brown without using cocoa? I don't want it to taste like chocolate. Any suggestions? It's for a wedding cake.

I have only ever tried wilton, but I know brown and black are hard. I did brown for a palm tree and it took a whole jar of brown color. Try using more. You might also try a small bit of black to darken it.
