I am tring to load a picture of a cake I did to use as an avitar. The file is too large. Anyone computer savy know how to reduce the size of my file?

yes, go to shrinkpictures.com and there will be a place to browse a file. Click on that and then it will bring up your personal picture files on your computer click on the picture you want to use and it gives you options of what size to shrink it to. I think it has to be 400 px or lower try a number. Then click on the submit button. It could take a second but then it will pop the picture you chose and say it has been resized. Then you right click it to "save as" name it and save. Then when you upload your avatar on cc, it will appear. I am trying to do the steps in my head. Let us know if this helps or not. This is old so you may have done it already!
