Poured Fondant Recipe?

Anyone have a good poured fondant recipe that tastes good for petite fours?
I don't like the sleeve kind at all.

Here's one I found on here somewhere a while ago. It's really good.


2/3 cup water
3 TBS clear Karo syrup
2 lbs. Powdered sugar
1 tsp almond extract

Do you just mix it all together or heat it?

I mix it up in a pot and put it on very low heat. I add the almond after it's warmed up. I freeze the cake squares and then put them on top of a fork and use a big spoon to pour the fondant on them. (over the pot)

Okay, I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I didn't know there was such a thing. I've only used MMF. What is poured fondant?

MMF is rolled fondant. Poured fondant is liquid-y and used to glaze petit fours or drizzle on sweets.
