Tip 233

Basically, you just hold the tip close to the surface, squeeze the bag, and stop and pull up at the same time.

I prefer to ice the area where I am putting the grass with the green icing first. That way you don't end up with a different colored background showing through.

I thought I might mention also that you can use round tips to make grass. It's just a slower process but it also depends on what you want your grass to look like.

In my pics I used a #5 round tip on my Wizzy #1 & Wizzy #2 (the ducks). Once you view the pictures you can click on them again and it will give you a closer view.

I used tip #233 on most of the cakes with grass. You can get a good view of how it looks on my 3-D CARS cake.

I just thought you might want to see the different effects between the tips. Maybe some others will have more ideas too.

I agree tip 233... might just be my favourite tip! I use it for grass, hair, monsters...
