Well, I did it! Sunday I delivered my first cake order. It was a three tiered buttercream covered cake in a 60's hippy wildflower theme with a beaver shaped groom's cake(this was for an anniversary not a wedding). I would say it went fairly well. I could see a lot of the cakes flaws but no one at the party saw the flaws and I got a lot of compliments on them. It was definitely a learning experience. Next time I will know to charge more that $150 for both of the cakes. I don't have pics right now (I forgot my camera) but the client is supposed to get me a pic of the cakes and I will post as soon as I get them.
