can u bake in the kitchen aid bowl?
i need some shape of a dome or so and the kitcehn aid bowl seems perfect for it can i bake in it? ![]()
i can see nor do I know of any reason that you couldn't except for needing the bowl to be making icing while the cake bakes.
remember due to the little indentation in the bottom of the bowl, you won't get a perfect dome shape and will have to build up icing to compensate.
do you have a pyrex bowl? i baked a doll cake in a 2-qt bowl and it came out fine.
for my son.
While it was baking, I did wish for an extra KA bowl--maybe I can hint to my mil for one this Christmas!
it is not for a doll,i was looking at bridel magazines looking for a inspiration i may have a costumer frst jiji
and she wants to try the cake for her daughter's bridel shower and if she likes it then i will be making her wedding cake ...
so i looked at a bouquet i think it was, look like a dome covered with light pink flowers...so i want to do that and in the top a precious moments bride day dreaming about her wedding
she said her daughter wants a preciuos moments wedding cake so...i think the shape of the ka it is perfect....
right?
I have baked in my pyrex 5qt measuring glass bowl. It came out fine. Good luck!!
I wouldn't do it, you wouldn't get a perfect dome shape anyway.
Pyrex bowls work great.
