I used it tonite in a buttercream. Oh it tastes fabulous, truly gives that bakery taste. I am making cinnamon rolls so will use a little of the buttercream icing on top. I used about 1/2 tsp if that much because it's a thick emulsion to flavor about 3 cups of buttercream. HTH.
I love Creme Boquet. Loranne Oils is my preference. Sometimes CK has a lemon taste and I don't have that trouble with Loranne Oils. I double my recipe and add 1 TBSP. Creme Boquet and 1 tsp. vanilla.
edited to add that my recipe makes 10 - 11 cups of icing.
I agree that the ck has a citrus flavor! haven't tried the LorAnne
The instructor that I had put creme bouquet in some of her cake recipes.. They were very tasty like that.. I've never tasted it in icing though.... I'm sure it would be good however you use it.. I might have to try that.........
I've only tried the CK and love the citrus flavor, it goes so well with my cookie recipe from Martha Stewart. She uses fresh lemon juice and zest in the cookies. I add the creme bouquet to Antonia's icing to flood the cookies. ![]()
yep CK has a cttrus tone to it but it does say that on the label, a mixture of vanilla and citrus flavors.

Ok, dumb question time. Do the lorann oils have a "creme boquet" flavoring? Which flavors do you use if not?
Thanks
paxpuella ~ It took me a while to find it on the internet but I finally found it. I buy it from a local candy store. They got me hooked on it.
