do have to measure the cake? I tried this and when i got to the back there was room for only half a diamond. it was on a round cake.
No, the diamond pattern will not always match up..........so put the mismatched part of it in the back of the cake.........
I tried once without a mat and thought it turned out awful so I bought an impression mat, it's smaller then I would like, but even when I use it I can't get them to match up!
