Hi I will be making a stacked cake for my final cake for my Wilton class. Our instructor is letting us do whatever we want. I want to try to copy off a cake on this site. I will be using a 10", 8" and a 6" round pans. I want to try a different flavor for each cake. Here is the cake mixes I have
1. Coconut Supreme 6"
2. Lemon Cake 8"
3. French Vanilla 10"

I need help I am new and I haven't been too crazy to try to experiment with diffent recipes or fillings basically straight out of the box cakes and preserves.

What do you all think will go best with these flavors? And can I do BC icing with all these different flavors without it tasting nasty?

I also will be dropping off this cake right after class so it will stay out of the refrigerator for the 2 hour long class DH works 2 minutes from Michael's.

For the lemon cake, I have always liked Raspberry filling! Maybe for the coconut cake you could do lemon filling? Hope that helps...good luck with your final cake!
