Hey, Y'all!

I'm going to be using the Lorann oil to flavor one of my cakes. I've never used it before in a cake mix.

Can anyone tell me how many drops you'd use in a regular cake mix? detective.gifdetective.gif How about flavoring buttercream? Any suggestions on that?

Sure do appreciate Y'all's help!

Thanks,

I just used Lorann oil (orange) in a recent batch of buttercream for the first time. The recipe uses 2 lbs. of powdered sugar and I used 1/4 tsp. of the oil. It tasted good but I think I could definitely get away with only using 1/8 tsp. for the whole batch - depends on how you like it.

Thanks, Y'all! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm doing a champagne cake, and instead of ordering the flavoring off the internet, this was available at my local cake supply shop.
