what size do you guys use for 20 people. an 8" (according to earlene's charts) is only for 15, then a 10" jumps to 30, same for a square. i may end up doing an 8" with 6" on top-again. but if anyone has anyinput that would be great what about an 11X15, cut in half then to make a 2 layer?
thanks

Do you have a 9" pan - you can get 22-25 servings.

For me an 8 would be fine not everyone eats cake or they ask for a tiny piece.

Smashcakes,

I think like Leana, a 9" round will do the trick. I have to do a cake this weekend for about 20 and I will be baking a 9". This will give you a little serving cushion.
