I was searching for this answer and am still confused. Here's a quote I grabbed off another post.

I looked up CC's gumpast recipe and it calls for Tylose. I went out and bought Wilton's Gum Tex, thinking that it was what I needed. Now I'm questioning if it's the right thing. The recipe on the gum tex container for gumpaste is so different from cake central's. It calls for glucose. (which I don't have.) (Or do I? what is it?)
