Is there any grocery stores or maybe michaels that carry wafer paper? I don't have time to order online but was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some... I have a Wal-Mart, Schnucks, Michaels around where I live .....

If it is only possible to get it online.... is there a good substitute for wafer paper to put on wings of a dragon.... No time for fondant to dry.. Any ideas out there?

Have you looked into spring roll wrappers (rice "paper") from your local supermarket or Asian food store? I have no idea if the stuff would be workable but it's a thought. If nothing else, it's a bump right? icon_smile.gif

EDITED TO ADD:
Funny, I was just doing a search in the gallery on "bees" for something for next month, stumbled across some really cute bees by sherik - who included this link for instructions on how to do the wings using gelatin.

More work than cutting out of paper, but really cute and uses things you can buy near you.

Good luck!
