My daughter is having a doll party this weekend. Does anyone have a picture of a dollhouse cake? I've seen lots of dolls photos, but none that include a house. Thanks, ann

wowww with all the amazing pool of talent on here and I only saw TWO dollhouse cakes- nobody else has attempted this? LOL (the 2 that I saw were SOOO CUTE and look like a lot of work - especially the roof lol)

not sure how much time you have, ann. Was thinking if you did a partially open one would be cute- or you knwo the cross section kind. so do a stacked 2 story house but only the back half (so maybe 2 loaf pans)- then the front with the help of card possibly if you're not so trusting with straight chocolate sheets- make the front half of the house (side walls and floor and roof- so that it's like an open dollhouse- http://shop.ebabybaskets.com/store/product22.html that's kind of what I mean- and then you can make little gumpaste or MMF dolls and furniture and stuf-f that's a lot of work- if you have the time- if not, the closed house idea that are in the gallery (dollhouse or doll house) would work too

You are right...making all those little doll house items is more than I want to do right now, but thanks for the tip on the 2 photos. I wasn't finding them under "dollhouse", but doll house worked. I'm thinking I might use the mini wonder mold pan and make a few dolls around the outside of the house if they don't look too out of proportion. Thanks, ann

I have one in my photos that I made this year. I looked for a long time before finding one that I could duplicate. I think this one is similar to the one I found in parenting magazine. Good luck!

There's a really cute one in Wilton's "Celebrate with Fondant", if you can, and want to, get it. with clear instructions (will be making it this week!!)
