11 X 15 - Do You Torte?

If you do torte your 11 x 15, how do you place the one torted half on top of the other without having it crack in half?

If requested I torte -- I torte and then slide a contact covered cake board between the layers and lift off the top...add filling and use the board to slide the top back on..

I almost always torte all of my cakes (just habit, I guess) including the
11 x 15. I usually use a large Wilton cookie sheet without the raised edges to lift the top off and to put it back on. I have also used the large cooling rack but it is more difficult. Good Luck!!!
