I am after instructions for Wilton pan 502-518. I bought some Wilton pans on Ebay and I originally thought that I had a bit missing. icon_cry.gif I have looked throught the pan instructions and most of the 3d Teddy pans have a heat conducting core and mine does not. It looks very similar to 2105-603 Stand up Cuddly Bear Pan but I cannot download the instructions. Mine looks as though you cook it upside down as there is a flat on the top.

Any help will be gratefully received.

That's the one CakeDiva, thanks. It didn't come with any clips to hold it together, any thoughts?

What about those heavy duty metal clips they sell at the office supply store? The have a black coating but you could test it out? I use these to hold my pre-cut sheets of parchment together so they don't fly all over the place.

Sorry I'm not more help!

If you are an avid Ebayer, you can occasionally catch the clips on there for sale. That is where I got my extra ones. 8 of them cost me $10 though.

Good luck and happy baking!

I swear, there is so much stuff at the hardware store that can be used in cake decorating - I love it! icon_lol.gif

I even used round metal tubes ( not sure what they were to be used for ) to make large "cookie-cake cutters" before I had my smaller pans - they made a crumbly mess until I figured out I was supposed to freeze the cakes first, but they cost under .40 a piece and worked for a while anyway icon_smile.gif

When I was in the cake decorating store they had a spackle tool that, I swear, is the same thing they sell at Home Depot for $1.99.

Thanks for that. I like the idea of the bulldog clips. From reading the instructions I do think that I am missing the baking core but I am sure I can improvise. I will have to make a test cake, which will please my children, before I make a cake for someone else. icon_lol.gif

I have the 3D teddy bear pan. My Aunt bought it years ago before they included a heating core. Now I use it, without a heating core, and it comes out fine every time. Maybe you don't need it.
