Ok, I am doing a cake that will have fondant accents.

The frosting is a crusting frosting and will have fondant triangles. What would be the best way to put the fondant accents to the cake sides. Do I use corn syrup, frosting, very little water ?????????????????

thanks

You could use just a little water brushed on the back of your fondant piece.

If your fondant is not dry yet, you should just be able to stick it to the side of the cake. If it needs a little help then a very small dab of water should make it stick...not too much though or your shape will fall apart. I've never used icing to make fondant stick, but it might work? HTH

This is what I do - simply place the fondant piece on the icing, and just hold it there for a few seconds to keep it from falling off - it should stay with no problems!

Good luck!
