Has anyone used leftover mmf on another cake??? I made a large cake this past weekend and have a fair amount left-some trimmings and some in a small lump totally unused ( the scraps are covered with a little cornstarch from rolling). I have to do a "Barbie" Doll cake this weekend for a friends daughter( I volunteered cuz she is over worked at the monent) Do you all think it would be o.k. to use???

I have saved my fondant and reused it before, it just took a little water because it was dry from where I rolled it out with powdered sugar. I don't see why it would be a problem, if you are worried about it taste it before you use it.

I save the scraps, as well, when I have them leftover. My best trick is to put them all into a ziplock bag and put them into the microwave for about 15-20 seconds. This makes them soft, and THEN I put in some confectioner's sugar to firm it back up a little. This makes it smooth again, too.
