I'm making a 2 tiered stack cake. It's going to have the basketweave design on the side and the bride will provide her own fresh flower bouquet on top. A fellow cakecentral member recommended to put a monogram. Any ideas on if that should go on the top or bottom cake?? I think the bottom cake maybe... hmm.. any ideas??

This are stacked, I'm assuming? If so, then yes on the bottom layer. That's what I think! icon_smile.gif

where it looks best in the overall composition of the cake.

could be bottom, middle or top.

experiment -- see where it looks best.

no hard/fasts rule as to placement.

Like Doug said ... no hard fast rules. What does the bride/client want? Do they have a preference?
