I need to make animal shaped cookies to match a baby shower cake. The last time I made cookie in a shape it didn't keep the shape during the baking process. Please someone give me directions on how to make a great cookie. Also what should I charge per dozen?

Penny's sugar cookie recipe holds the cookie shape really well. It spreads very little, if any at all, during baking.

I also like the "no fail sugar cookie"recipe. It's from www.kithcengifts.com
It holds it's shape really well and is very easy to work with!

I use th NFSC recipe and make sure the dough is cold (usually put the cut unbaked cookies into the freezer for 10 min. or so before putting them into a VERY preheated oven).
