Crystal1983...one tip I would like to pass on is...don't use all of the powered sugar the recipe asks for. I usually have about 2 cups left in the bag of powered sugar. This will save you a lot of frustration if you are making fondant for the first time.

there are severl ways to make fondant. the easiest way by far is the marshmellow fondant. the recipe is in the recipe section. i believe a link was posted in the above thread. its way easy.

Just know that it takes some getting used to. I tried the MMF a couple of times before I got the hang of it. I would stress letting it rest for a little while. I coat the outside of it with some powder sugar (so it won't stick to the bag) and then put it in a ziplock bag. If you don't have time, just make sure that you have your surface nicely coated with powder sugar (which I use) or corn starch.
