I know I can pipe borders with it but what do you use to make flowers? I don't know if I can put BC flowers on it or if it has to just be gumpaste? I want to make roses and daisies and leaves... Not sure IMBC will hold up well or take much color. icon_confused.gif

I haven't tried it but I'm sure you can do leaves and some people say they've used it for roses.

I don't know how dark you want to color it but I just used it on a watermelon cake and got both a bright green and a red/pink with no problem - I used Americolor.

I guess the only thing I can do is make up a batch and pipe some and see what happens. I will try to pipe the roses around a hershey kiss.... I saw a recipe for IMBC that also adds in some shortening and they said it was more stable so I may give it a shot. I have used ShirleyW's and it is delicious.

I don't think IMBC will hold up for flowers well I love it but only use it to ice and border icon_smile.gif
