Well the wedding is over and the cleaning has begun hahahaha. Here are some of my own photo's of the cake. I will post the prfoessioanl photo's when the photographer brings them. All went VERY well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves very much. Lots of stories about the cake (including fires etc.) but we'll go there later when I have better pictures.
I can't thank ALL OF YOU enough for all the advice and encouragement you have given me along this journey. I already have people asking if I could help with future weddings but I don't think I could take the stress!!!! Hat's off to those of you that do this on a regular basis....you have nervs of steel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been following this cake since your "practice" cakes started. This cake and idea was one of the first that I ever put into my "favorites!"
Yours was the first wedding cake I truly loved when I started looking at them here on CC, too.

To add to the comment that cakes get easier the more you do ~ seriously, they do. I used to stress so bad over them and one day I finished a cake and I was so disappointed. I said, "is that all"? So ~ stay at it! You could make some $ with that incredible talent!!!!
I did not see the thread before regarding these cakes, but the outcome is beautiful, delicate and sooo special for the bride a groom. Looks like you could open your own wedding cake shop and charge tons of $$$ for these exquisite results. You have so much talent, please continue to share.
