Ribbon On A Cake

im sure this question has been brought up many times, so sorry. i just wanted to know how to attach a ribbon onto a bc frosted cake. would i just use bc frosting to paste it onto the cake?

You could do like you said and just attach the ribbon to the cake with dots of BC icing. OR ... to avoid having the grease from the icing soak through the ribbon and change the color or make it look greasy, you could glue a strip of wax paper to the ribbon and then attach the wax paper side to the cake with dots of BC. Hope this makes sense!! icon_smile.gif

Cool I've been wondering this myself and those directions at least make since to me. I would have never thought of the wax paper. icon_rolleyes.gif
