I am wanting to make a cake today for tomorrow with ganache. I also want some chocolate covered strawberries for decorations. Would it be best to pour the ganache tomorrow morning or can I do it today? The cake will be for lunch and I would pour it before I left for church.

Can I also use the ganache to dip my strawberries in? I just want to make sure the chocolate would firm up, because I also want to do some constrasting lines for decoration on the strawberries. I think I read in the past the strawberries are best dipped the day they are needed. Is this true, or can I dip my strawberries today? If I can dip them today, what is the best way to store them until tomorrow?

Thank you for all your help.

I've done some dipped strawberries day before.. Just dont panic when you take them out the next day and if you have to leave them setting out on a table and they start to sweat.. they will be fine.. I've made a ganache cake day before.. I've left both in the fridge until time to deliver... now i've never covered strawberries with ganache..
