I have been practicing making leaves but they don't come out good. I can't get the tip to look like a tip. They tear off or just don't end up looking like I want them to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What tip are you using to make the leaves? I find tip 352 easy to use, cant not get a pointed tip, but not as pretty as tip 67. When using tip 67 try using thin icing with some piping gel in it. The piping gel gives it the stretch it needs to make the tip.

yeah, if you are using 67, run out and buy 352! It is so much easier. I always thin the icing and put in a little corn syrup (or you could use piping gel) to increase the flexibility. You can see the leaves in my photos using this tip....

Thanks for the help. I'll have to go get tip 352 and some piping gel and then try it.

I also use the tip 352 but I've never added piping gel I just use regular
BC and I think they turn out just fine.

Sometimes opening up the tip a little more helps also!
