It's finally done and I think it turned out pretty good....not quite Shirley W or Godiva or Fairytale or Tututgirl (just a few of my favorite artists) yet, but I think I'm improving. First package cake, first shoes, pearls and fondant bows.

Thanks to all (including Miriel and Aminton) who gave me such good advice on putting the fondant on the cake. Thanks for looking.

This I'm sure was very time comsuming.. well worth all the time and effort.. Just beautiful!!! The rose looks so amazing!! The shoes are just perfect..

Thanks for all of your kind comments. It was indeed done with love. The cake will be a real surprise as no one knew what design I would do. Foxymama, yes I am doing her wedding cake. It's a relatively small wedding (100) thank goodness! Pumpkinroses, the top is styrofoam covered in fondant.
