Hi! Well i'm located near Fort Worth Texas.. And rain as not stopped yet!!!! I've been watching our local weather channels and reading the star telegram for updates on all this rain.. There have been so many people affected by all this rain.. Some are being asked to get out of their homes due to dangerous high waters.. Some have already lost their homes due to floods.. If you know someone who needs help due to flooding..
Here is what I found at www.startelegram.com

What is the weekend forecast?

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted through Sunday. Next week, the chances of thunderstorms will subside as a low-pressure system drifts north to Oklahoma and Kansas, according to Jason Dunn, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

June 16-18 flooding

President Bush declared six Texas counties, including Tarrant, as disaster areas because of severe weather June 16-18. The declaration allows the release of federal funds for assistance, including temporary housing and home repairs or loans and other programs. The other counties are Cooke, Coryell, Denton, Grayson and Lampasas.

To register for assistance

Call 800-621-FEMA (3362) or visit www.fema.gov. You'll need your Social Security number, current and pre-disaster address, a telephone number where you can be contacted, insurance information, total household annual income, a routing and account number from your bank (only necessary if you want to have money transferred directly into your bank account), and a description of losses caused by the storm.

To check the status of an application

Call 800-621-FEMA (3362), and press 3 for the help line, or go to www.disasteraid.fema.gov/IAC/, click on select "Review your Application," then select "Create My Account."

I can add, after having been thru Katrina and lost literally everything my family and I owned except 2 suitcases and some of our pictures, if you file with FEMA, keep on them. If dh didn't make call after call and keep on them and keep up with it we wouldn't have any help us start over.
