I had never heard of one until I came here. What IS a gooms cake? I'm sure it's pretty self explanitory...a cake for grooms...but is it actually at the wedding? IF so, WHY???? or is it a fancy way to say a cake for a bachelor party. I know it's a stupid question!!!

It's a cake made for the groom. Yep, it's actually at the wedding. Here's a link discussing the background of the groom's cake.

It is at the wedding. Most of the time, it's a special cake that reflects the interest/s of the groom......or it can just be a chocolate/fave flavor. I've seen pics on here of it being an XBox, or the controllers.

So basically, there is the tiered or stacked Bride's cake in the colors of the wedding, AND there is the groom's cake, too.

BTW, it's NOT a stupid question. If nobody asked, nobody would know. icon_razz.gif The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. icon_biggrin.gif
