My sister-in-law is getting married in Jan. and wants a winter wedding cake theme. We saw one in a modern bride magazine with irridescent edible snowflakes. Need ideas on how best to make these snowflakes. thanks

I have this set of snowflake cutters (scroll to botttom of page): http://www.sweetc.com/Cat/Set3/030.pdf

You can make different looking snowflake designs with the 2 small cutters included in the set using gumpaste.

Thanks so much for the help. I was thrilled to see the templates. They are perfect and will save me time searching. I think I am leaning towards the royal icing, I haven't used gum paste very much. I need to take the time and experiment more with it, there is so much you can do with it. I have been on this site for a while, so I know how addicting it can be, I just have not been on the forum. When I needed help, I knew I could find it here. It's great. Thanks so much. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
