print out and lay under wax paper.
trace w/ royal icing and allow to harden
then peel off and apply to cake.

Thanks so much for the help. I was thrilled to see the templates. They are perfect and will save me time searching. I think I am leaning towards the royal icing, I haven't used gum paste very much. I need to take the time and experiment more with it, there is so much you can do with it. I have been on this site for a while, so I know how addicting it can be, I just have not been on the forum.
